Team Management
Use the portal to invite teammates, assign roles, and manage access to your organisation.
Who Can Do This
Owners and Admins can invite users and manage member roles. See Roles & Permissions for a full breakdown of what each role can do.
Inviting A New User
- Go to
Settings->People. - Click
Invite member. - Enter the user's email address and select a role.
- Click
Send invite.
The invited user receives an email with a link to create their account and join the organisation. The invitation link expires after 7 days. If it expires, cancel the old invitation and send a new one.
Roles
Choose the right role when inviting:
| Role | Best for |
|---|---|
| Owner | Trusted organisation leaders who need full control, including managing other owners. Limit to 1–2 people. |
| Admin | System administrators and technical leads who manage factories, Lines, Groups, machines, and formats. |
| Manager | Production supervisors and shift leads who manage checks and daily operations but do not change configuration. |
| Operator | Floor workers who complete and skip check instances. Cannot modify any configuration. |

Changing A Member's Role
- Go to
Settings->People. - Find the member in the list.
- Select a new role from the dropdown next to their name.
Note: Admins cannot change the role of an Owner. Only Owners can manage other Owners.
Removing A Member
- Go to
Settings->People. - Find the member.
- Click
Remove memberand confirm.
Removed members lose access immediately. Their historical check results and actions are preserved in reporting.
Note: Admins cannot remove Owners.
Pending Invitations
Invitations that have not been accepted appear in the pending list under Settings -> People. You can:
- Cancel an invitation that is no longer needed.
Getting Access (New Users)
If you need to join an existing organisation, ask an Owner or Admin from your company to send you an invitation. They will find the invite option under Settings -> People in the portal.
If your organisation has not yet set up Continual, the first user signs up and becomes the initial Owner.

Expected Result
Each person has one appropriate role, accepted users can access the correct application, and expired or unnecessary invitations do not remain active.
