Insights

The Analytics -> Insights section of the portal provides in-depth analysis of your check operations and quality data. It is organised into five tabs.

Overview

Analytics -> Insights -> Overview

A cross-metric summary for a selected factory and time range. Use this tab for a broad picture of how operations are performing.

Key metrics shown:

Metric	What it measures
Due	Count of check instances scheduled in the period.
Completion	Percentage of due checks that were completed (vs missed).
Compliance	Percentage of completed checks that passed.
Timeliness	Percentage of completed checks finished within the grace period.
CIL defects	Count of defect actions created from failing CIL checks.
CIL MTTR	Median time to resolve a CIL defect action.
Deviations	Count of deviation actions created from failing centreline checks.
Deviation MTTR	Median time to resolve a deviation action.
Changes proposed	Count of check change proposals submitted.
Proposals accepted	Percentage of reviewed proposals that were approved.

Use the factory filter and date range picker at the top of the page to scope the data. Hover over a metric name for a precise definition.

Completion

Analytics -> Insights -> Completion

A detailed breakdown of check completion rates and operator time-on-task. Use this tab to identify which lines, machines, or checks have the most missed instances, whether the pattern is improving or worsening over time, and how long checks are taking to complete.

The Completion tab includes:

• Execution charts: Daily completion trend, operator activity, checks by machine, and hourly completion pattern.
• Schedule timeliness: Timeliness rate and a breakdown of how late completed checks were relative to due time (on time, 1–3 hrs late, 3–8 hrs late, 8+ hrs late).
• Time on task: Median and 90th-percentile completion duration, a distribution histogram, daily median trend, slowest-checks table, and typical-time columns in the completion breakdown. Timing is recorded when operators tap Start on mobile.
• Completion breakdown: Expandable line → machine → check table with completion, compliance, and typical time columns.

Use Operations -> Checks -> Activity when you need instance-level detail behind a completion trend.

Defects

Analytics -> Insights -> Defects

Analysis of defect actions — those raised automatically by failing CIL checks. Use this tab to understand where quality failures are occurring most often and how quickly they are being resolved.

Charts and tables include:

• Daily defect trend: Count of failing CIL check results each day in the period. A machine with one persistent unresolved defect contributes to this trend every day it keeps failing, even though it's a single action.
• Defects by check: Which CIL checks are generating the most actions.
• Defects by machine: Which machines have the highest defect rate.
• Resolution time distribution: How long defects are taking to close.
• Repeat offenders: Checks with more than one automatic defect action in the period, i.e. issues that keep recurring on the same check/machine pairing.

Deviations

Analytics -> Insights -> Deviations

Analysis of out-of-target Centreline readings. Use this tab to understand where Centreline checks are regularly failing, what Operators did when they failed, and which checks repeatedly drift from their standard.

Charts and tables include:

• Actioned, Corrected on the spot, and Target disputed: Summary counts for the explicit Operator responses in the selected period.
• Daily deviation trend: Failed Centreline readings per day, split into Corrected on the spot, Actioned, Target disputed, and Legacy / not captured. Legacy readings came from an older app version that did not record a disposition.
• Why deviations were actioned: Reasons Operators gave when they left a deviated Centreline as is.
• Most self-corrected checks: Checks repeatedly restored on the spot, which can expose chronic drift even when no corrective action remains open.
• Most affected machines / assets: Where the selected scope has the highest deviation volume.
• Checks to inspect: Centreline checks ranked by deviation count, with completion totals, failure rates, and target summaries.
• Value explorer: Historical actual values for a selected check, shown against the target range captured when each result was submitted. Use the Focus check selector to switch checks; when no machine is selected, it is limited to the checks with the most failures in the period.

Actions

Cross-category action analytics covering defects, deviations, and manually created actions. Use this tab for a unified view of corrective action workload and resolution performance, broken down by category and status.
